What’s On Term 3

Computers from the Beginning  –  Do you need help with your computer??? Never used one or are you having trouble with a program or would like to do something in particular, then this is the course for YOU. We cover: the basics, internet, email, facebook, photos, cd/dvd burning, Word, Excel etc and much more. – Wednesday’s starting 19th July and ongoing each week. Have one session or many, depending on your needs. – 10.30am – 12pm – Cost $15 a session or 6 sessions for $50

Photos with your Phone – What’s the secret to taking great photos on your smartphone? To be a good photographer, it takes more that just a good camera. With the help of a few tweaks, a few apps and without additional knowledge, learn how you can get more out of your smartphone’s camera. – Monday 7th August – 7.30pm – 9pm – Cost – $15

Food Handling (Level 1 Food Safety) – (Hospitality & Retail, Community & Health, Food Processing) – Tutor – CFT International and is available online – Cost – $95

Kids Art After School – Come along and join in the fun and make something arty and crafty with Mel Unger.  – Friday July 28th and August 25th – 4.30pm – 5.30pm Cost – $5

First Aid & CPR Update – Need to update or complete your first aid or cpr? – Monday 18th September – 3.45pm start in Multi Purpose Room Rainbow P-12 College – Cost – Level 2 $165 CPR $75

Good Bugs Vs Bad Bugs – with Denis Crawford from ABC Radio. Come along and listen to Denis and ask him questions about all your garden bugs. – Monday 28th August at 7pm. Cost – $15

Understanding Youth Allowance – Gavin Simmons from Simmons Advisory Services – Horsham is presenting this information session for parents of Year 11 or Year 12 students who are intending to go on to tertiary studies. Gavin will step you through Youth Allowance process. Topics include – Independent vs Dependent, Bachelor vs Diploma / Certificate, On Campus vs Off Campus, Income tests and scholarships. This session is a must to understand your families choices when your child does head away for tertiary studies. – Wednesday 2nd August at 7.30pm at Rainbow P-12 College Multipurpose Room. Cost – FREE
